Tonight, we say goodbye to “Parks and Recreation,” the remarkably humane NBC sitcom about Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), a hyper-competent and incredibly enthusiastic public servant, which managed to hang on for seven seasons in a show of persistence 

The departure of Parks and Recreation Tuesday night marked an even greater loss for TV than one might think. The show had an undeniably good run—seven seasons, with perhaps a slight quality dip in the middle before it rebounded for a grand sendoff.

Even outside of Pawnee, the cast of Parks and Recreation cast proved on Late Night with Seth Meyers that they can still warm your heart like no one else.
