DALLAS – Despite longtime champion Georges St-Pierre's recent departure, the UFC's welterweight division is in fine shape, thanks in large part to Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler's fight for the vacant belt at UFC 171.

He took Lawler to the canvas to seal up the fifth round – and the UFC's welterweight title. Hendricks took a unanimous decision with a trio of 48-47 scores. The welterweight title bout was the main event of today's UFC 171
