The Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary special was packed with celebs, but one noteworthy face was missing — Tracy Morgan. The longtime comedian was a recurring cast member for eight seasons on SNL before going on to star on 30 Rock with Tina Fey 

Tracy Morgan is still on the mend after landing in the hospital in critical condition following the six-vehicle car crash this past June. The 30 Rock alum, 46, who spent ten days in the ICU before being released to undergo 

Sadly, Tracy missed the fun event due to serious injuries he sustained in a June 7 car accident which left fellow comedian, James McNair, dead. To make up for Morgan's unfortunate absence, Tina and Alec gave an emotional and funny shout-out to their pal.
