UPDATE, 3:55 p.m.: Manager Bruce Bochy said he did not spend much time thinking about dropping Gregor Blanco in the lineup against left-hander Gio Gonzalez and having Hunter Pence lead off. “He's our leadoff hitter,” Bochy said of the struggling Blanco.
