Carolina Panther Greg Hardy was found guilty Tuesday night of assaulting his former girlfriend and threatening to kill her. Attorneys for the 25-year-old Pro Bowl defensive end announced an immediate appeal. That means 

Carolina Panthers player Greg Hardy has been deactivated from the Sept. 14 game due to domestic abuse charges stemming from an incident in May and a conviction in July. However, he played one week prior.

The Detroit Lions won't have to worry about Greg Hardy on Sunday, as he has been declared inactive by the Carolina Panthers.
