On the 100th Anniversary of Dr. Seuss's Birth His Quotes Continue to Inspire

One of the College's most famous alumni, Geisel left a footprint that can be felt throughout campus—from the Dr. Seuss room in Baker-Berry Library, to the traditional meal of green eggs and ham served during Dartmouth 

If you didn't know, today is National Read Across America Day. It is a day meant to encourage children to read and to even dare to develop a love of reading. Parents are encouraged to take the time to read to their children.

In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, the Cat in the Hat will make a stop at two Detroit-area schools for the Read Across America tour.
