The journey begins for one of the most exciting prospects in all of hockey, as the Florida Panthers selected defensive prospect Aaron Ekblad with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

He has played the last several years with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program and has represented the United States internationally on two occasions. Selected with the No. 184 overall pick in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League priority draft
