Michigan knocks Tennessee out of NCAAs after mad finish

INDIANAPOLIS — Tennessee made a remarkable run to the Sweet 16 after beginning its journey beginning in the First Four. The Volunteers topped Iowa, UMass and Mercer to reach the Sweet 16, but Michigan was just too much in a 73-71 victory on Friday

But with a spot in the Elite Eight on the line, the Volunteers did what they did against Iowa, clawing their way back from a big deficit. Michigan blew a ten-point lead with just three minutes left, and after two consecutive turnovers with under 30

down to the final seconds. In the end, Michigan State, Michigan, Kentucky and Connecticut punched their tickets to the Elite 8.
