iZombie premiere ratings could use a bit more life

The CW has been on a long-overdue winning streak this season: After the ratings success of The Flash and the critical and awards acclaim of Jane the Virgin, now here comes the network's attempt to break into the popular walking dead genre with iZombie.

iZombie wasn't the only premiere Tuesday night: NBC rolled out new comedies Undateable (6.5 million, 1.9) and One Big Happy (5.6 million, 1.6). Reviews on those two were less positive, both averaging below 50 percent on 

The wonderfully bananas series about a zombie medical examiner, who also solves crime, is infectiously charming. It's maddeningly charming. The pilot of this series should be tranquilized, tagged, and studied for its charm. Yeah, we really liked iZombie.
