HUVr: The Back to the Future hoverboard is finally here

On HUVr Tech's website, there's even ties to Mark Cuban, complete with a quote about this fake technology. “I've never been so excited for a product I've invested in,” the Cuban quote says. We're not here to dispute the authenticity of the HUVr video

Ladies and gentlemen, the 15-year wait is finally over: HUVr Tech has announced what appears to be the first ever hoverboard. Dubbed the HUVr, the device appears to function almost exactly like the hoverboard used by Marty McFly in Back to the Future 

Moby, Tony Hawk, and other celebrities rocket around on the HUVr Board—a flying board billed as a real world version of the hoverboard from the Back to the Future film franchise—in this slickly produced promo video 

Way back in the 1980s, Back to the Future II painted an enduring vision of the future with self-tying shoes and hoverboards. The shoes are actually slated to happen soon, but the hoverboard? That's nonsense, right? Well 

A company named HUVr claims to be bringing us the hoverboard technology in 2014, but there's no way this is real.
