HANDS ON: Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch

The Moto 360 is the first Android smartwatch to sport a round face – and it's a BOLD round face. It features a 1.56″ 320×290 display with a backlit LCD screen. The body itself is 46mm in diameter with an 11.5mm height.

iFixit has gotten ahold of the Moto 360 and applied the usual spudgers and heat packs to rip open the little round smartwatch. There weren't too many surprises (everything is round!) except for the battery: it's smaller than advertised.

The Moto 360 — which holds the distinction of being the first circular Android Wear timepiece — is available in the US starting September 5 for $250. It will be available from early October in the UK for £199 and will come to other parts of the world
