The Indianapolis Colts asked NFL Commissioner Goodell to place Colts Linebacker Josh McNary on the commissioner's exemption list Thursday, after he was charged Wednesday with felony counts of rape and criminal confinement and a misdemeanor 

Prosecutors filed charges of rape, criminal confinement with bodily injury and battery resulting in bodily injury against Indianapolis Colts backup linebacker Josh McNary on Wednesday. Early Thursday morning, an attorney for McNary released a statement
