BYU football: Receivers struggled to get open for freshman QB

Will it be all roses? Probably not. But Mangum appears capable, and BYU has a litany of receivers he can throw to. If the run game can help Mangum transition, we may still see plenty of fun, winning football ahead of us.

It would have been BYU's first win against a top 10 team since beating Oklahoma in 2009. A win would have likely launched them into the forefront of the College Football Playoff conversation as well as a possible top 10
